RaboBRESS 2011
Beer, sweat and tears at Rabo Bress 2011

Wow, Rabo Bress 2011! It was a great success. 300 Fanatical athletes, 5 sports, 3 locations, 42 teams and a big party. Everyone enjoyed from beginning to end. It was a beautiful winter Wednesday!

All participants were welcomed with a warm glass of gluhwein and swirling snowflakes. In the BRESS sportscenter everyone could warm up and prepare for the biggest student sports tournament of Breda: Rabo Bress. In this tournament was fought fanatically to the prices. The competitions futsal, volleyball, hockey and squash started at 18.00 in the BRESS sportcenter. The bowlers were eating during these competitions. After a nice dinner starts aslo the bowling competition in the Bowling Center of Breda.
All games were played very fanatical and with a lot of fun. But as the tournament progressed and the prices came closer, the games were much more fanatical and active. The calories of the meal and the beer were directly compensated.
After some thrilling semi-finals, the finals start. There could be only one winner (per sport).

The winning teams;
• Hockey: Hockeyfysio
• Squash: Erik Jan Ivangh
• Volleyball: Blahblah
• Bowling: Concierge Team 2
• Futsal: FC Wiljan

"Winning is more important than participation" was the mentality that these teams showed in the finals. They received very nice prices during the ceremony.

After this ceremony was DJ Zifiron ready for making a party! With his infectious music he made sure that even the Ajax-Real Madrid football viewers were on the dance floor. The beer flowed freely and the participants had a great time. Also the organization was very satisfied with the outcome and hopes you all to see again next year!
For people who are not there ... You have missed something! So make sure you're there next year!

RaboBRESS 2010
A ski hut, 275 enthousiastic participants, 4 different sports and a big party: Rabo BRESS 2010 has been a success again! The greatest sporting event of Breda has been a real Tirol event. The theme has been conceived very seriously, the participants where extremely dressed. The Pink Horses where the right candidate for the price of the best dressed team 2010. They will enjoy the price for a long time.

When the participants came in they got an ice- and icecold Jägermeister, after this ‘warming up’ they started with the macthes at 6.00pm. 78 exciting matches has been played in BRESS sportcenter, Local Sports Centre and at the bowling club. The teams gave their best try to became the best team at hockey, volleybal, bowlen and football. There was a possibility to get extra points with the game ‘nail hitting’, a real activity at the Tiroler piste! The participants where showing their qualities with a hammer and a nail! The result: hilaric and exciting moments around the tree trunk and surprising match results.

Next to the matches New York Pizza made delicious meals. The pasta’s where, besides a couple of beers, the energy to play the matches and also a good begin for a spectacular party! This great party was due to the DJ who created the amazing party in BRESS sportcenter. Unfortunately at 1am it was time for the last number...

RaboBRESS 2009
On Wednesday 9th December over 50 teams joined RaboBRESS at BRESS Sportcenter. While enjoying a drink the teams waited with baited breath till the starting signal was given. At 6pm six defferent sports runoff. During this cozy and sportive tournement over 300 participants enjoying sports like basketball, football, volleyball, hockey, bowling and squash. After the sports BRESS provides pastas for everyone.

During the sports there was a striking appearance; suddenly an icebear showed up and disturbed a lot of matches. The icebear rewards some spectacular actions of players with a surprice. After the final matches the icebear went to the swinging apres-ski party. During the party the icebear shows up one more time and makes some dancing moves on his song: ‘Hey, wir wollen die eisbären sehen’. The icebear stept up on the stage and gives a wintersports trip to Jordi Bombeek.
The atmosphere at the party was ver good from te first moment the DJ starts his music. It was a grandiose ending of RaboBRESS.
