Winterweek

We had plenty of winter during the winter week this year. The temperatures were around freezing and the Bress winter activities made the winter week complete.

Tuesday November 23, we went on a ski/snowboard trip to SnowWorld Landgraaf. We left the Bress Sportcenter with a bus full of 50 students toward the ski hall in Landgraaf. There were still four hours of skiing or snowboarding left despite of the traffic jam. After the first descent the first students were seen in the ski lodge on the slopes for a nice cold beer. Despite of a couple of flips and belly slides could everyone go back with the bus to Breda.

On Thursday November 25 was the pubquiz of Bress the second activity during the winter week. The pubquiz was held in the ski lodge in the Bress Sportcenter which was transformed to a Tyrolean café. The quiz consisted of six rounds which were questions about sports, movies, television, geography etc. After a score of 55 points was Team Volwassen onderwijs Roosendaal with Michael and Michiel the winner of the first Bress pubquiz. A big pitch of beer was waiting on the bar for the winners.
