Volleyballtournament

After the success of the first edition, this year BRESS organizes three time a Volleyball tournament. Every tournament you can try to win the BRESS Volleybal Cup and of course the title Best Volleyball Team. The first Tournament is planned at 8th October. In the report of the previous edition you will read how much pleasure it is to join this evening.

BRESS Volleybal tournament March 2010
Monday 8th March there was a Volleyball tournament at BRESS. Over 110 students from NHTV and AVANS played in 16 different teams against each other. At 8 p.m. all teams get together in the Sportcenter and get a free drink offered.

After opening the tournament and a short warm-up came the launch of the first matches at exactly 8.45 pm. The team stepped onto the field full of enthusiasm. The matches took a quarter and teams where divided in four different poules, where only the winner was moving to the semifinals. At 11 p.m. the final started between “Team Pien” and “Between your eyes”. This blood-curdling finale was decided by one point difference in favor of “Between your eyes” (22-23). This team went home with the coveted cup and will be challenged to defend her title during the next volleyball tournament.

 The tournament ended with a swinging party. A DJ and the possibility to sing karaoke was a perfect mix of entertainment. Although some participants where better at the volleyball field then they where singing, it was a successful evening for everyone.
