Salsa

Salsa is a ‘dance of the street’ on Latin American music and is definately not static, but expressive, passional and spicy! Salsa dancing doesn’t know standard following order or steps like in ballroom dancing, but the steps are only limited by the creativeness of the dancers. Sure there is a basis, but the gentleman leads and determines the moves according to the music. As soon as you know the basic steps you will dance salsa with creativity and a harmony will exist between the dance partners and the music.
The lessons start off with a good warming up and followed by learning the dancing techniques of the Salsa. On individual and on group level basic steps, rhythm and following/leading are handled
You can follow the Salsa lessons in the BRESS Sportcenter from 20.00h taught by Bailamos Latino. From  21.00h you can join us with Salsa Solo. A partner is not required.
Next to the lessons a possibility is offered to join the free social dance events every Wednesday from 20.30h  during Ik Sie je Woenzdag de Grott.
