Archery is a sport during which you use a bow to shoot arrows at a target. Back in the days a bow and arrow was used to hunt and as a war weapon, nowadays it is seen as a concentration sport. With every arrow you need to have maximum concentration, shooting posture, respiration and technique.
BRESS-members can practice archery at HBSV Alliance d’Amitié (literally translated: “Alliance of Friendship”). The association was founded in June 1851 by a baron and is nowadays established in sports park Jeugdland in Ulvenhout. The association owns an inside playing area with 16 targets, all with the set distances of both 18 and 25 meters. Besides this, from April until September archery can be practiced outside with distances up to 90 meters.
Would you like to be professionally introduced to archery at HBSV Alliance d’Amitié? Please make an appointment with Ad via 06 46 63 23 59. Who knows, you might be the Robin Hood or Katniss Everdeen of Breda!
