Korfball is a very diverse sport; you have to be able to attack and defend and be both tactical and technical. However, korfball players have way more skills! They need the ability of speed, strength and physical endurance and finally being able to control the ball in a skillful way. Korfball is the only team sport in the world where teams are mixed, which makes it a unique sport.
During korfball you are not allowed to walk with the ball and the only way to move across the field and score goals is to pass the ball to each other. A goal is made when the ball is shot into the opponents goal (the korf).
BRESS-members can play korfball thanks to a cooperation with sports partner Korfbalclub Terda. If you would like to get to know the club and the sport you can also join a few training sessions for free.
As a BRESS-member you have the ability to buy a 10 ride ticket for € 20,-*. This way, you are not immediately stuck to a subscription. You can sign up via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. When you finish your 10 ride ticket, it is worth a free drink in the canteen of KC Terda. Cheers!
For the ones who rather prefer to purchase a membership at KC Terda, there is a special offer; BRESS-members who join the club in September or October, do not have to pay any membership contribution until the end of December. After this, students pay a monthly fee of € 15,- per month.
* Please bring your BRESS sports card including photo and expiration date to the first lesson.
